November 15 is the deadline to register for the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT)! Use your MySchools.nyc account to register for the test—talk to your school counselor if you need help logging in.
Test tickets will be available in late November, after the registration deadline. We’ll notify families and schools when test tickets are ready in MySchools.
DOE public school 8th grade students will take the SHSAT at their own middle schools this year, while private school, charter, homeschool, and 9th grade students will take the test at central DOE locations on weekends. For more information about test dates and locations, please visit schools.nyc.gov/SHS.
